Apple iOS 9 Available Now

Keen to be one of the first people to try the new iOS 9 from Apple?

The new operating system from Apple is open to the public free of charge, giving you the chance to try out the unfinished OS before it launches on Tuesday 8th September 2015.

If you wanted to access the BETA version of a new OS from Apple prior to this, you had to pay $99 a year through the developers program.

It looks like Apple wants to avoid the disastrous launch of iOS 8 and find as many bugs in the new platform before it goes live.

iOS 9 is available to download and install for free, but you do need to enrol in the public BETA software program from Apple.

You are advised to backup your device before installing the unfinished iOS 9 update and it goes without saying that you should expect to experience lots of bugs and glitches. After all, the BETA is not finished and is a works in progress.

iOS 9 will be compatible on the following iPhones: iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPhone 5S, iPhone 5C, iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus.
